Internet requirements on UAE networks
Both Etisalat and du fibre packages sold in the UAE comfortably exceed what IPTV needs. The entry-level home plans are typically 100–250 Mbps; 4K streaming needs around 25 Mbps and HD around 8 Mbps.
In practice the limiting factor is never the ISP, it's in-apartment Wi-Fi. UAE apartments have a lot of concrete, and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi through two internal walls is where buffering complaints come from.
